Supporting Oshawa Families: McKin Health Gives Back

In March, the McKin Health team in Oshawa, Ontario dedicated time to give back to the community by donating essential medical supplies, including incontinence products, to families in need.

Partnering with local charity, Simcoe Hall Settlement HouseMcKin Health donated two pallets of incontinence supplies to help ensure underprivileged families have access to the products they need.

McKin Health Providing Essential Supplies to the Community

Charities often struggle to provide medical supplies to families in need due to limited resources. Organizations like McKin Health are uniquely positioned to help bridge that gap. These donations support individuals who may not otherwise have access to essential health products and supplies. Through partnerships with organizations like Simcoe Hall Settlement House, these efforts also help strengthen community support systems and improve access for lowincome seniors.

The Charity Behind the Work: Simcoe Hall Settlement House

The Simcoe Hall Settlement House was founded in 1935 to reverse effects caused by The Great Depression. With the goal of helping relieve the economic pressures felt by underprivileged families, the Simcoe Hall Settlement House made a promise to create independent and sustainable futures for families in need.

Today, the Simcoe Hall Settlement house is an establishment that brings community and support to the less fortunate members of the Oshawa. They continue to fulfill their promise through their community programs from after-school care to senior groups, as well as their work in their food bank to relieve pressures on Oshawa families.

McKin Health is grateful for the Simcoe Hall Settlement house and their dedication to our community and their dedication to ensuring a positive impact with the donation.
